Anthony “Gus” Gusikoski is the co-owner of Zen Mechanical Inc. and a journeyman plumber with over 19 years of experience. Known for his precision and commitment to quality, Gus takes pride in delivering mechanical solutions that bring clients peace of mind.

Beyond the trade, Gus is a proud husband of 15 years and father of two. He’s deeply rooted in the Saskatoon community, serving as a member of the Pow City Kinsmen for the past six years. When he’s not on the job, you’ll likely find him camping with his family or recharging on a hot holiday.

With a balance of professional expertise and genuine connection, Gus brings both craftsmanship and character to every project Zen Mechanical takes on.

Melvin “Mel” Carbonel is the co-owner of Zen Mechanical Inc. and a Journeyman Red Seal plumber with over 15 years of experience in the plumbing and mechanical trade. Working alongside his partner, Anthony (Gus) Gusikoski, Mel combines technical expertise with a passion for helping clients transform their ideas into lasting, practical results.

Much of Mel’s career has been dedicated to commercial projects, supported by experience in residential and industrial work. He has proudly contributed to Saskatoon landmarks such as the Ronald McDonald House, Remai Modern, and facilities at the University of Saskatchewan, along with numerous tenant improvements across the province. Earlier in his career, he also specialized in water treatment systems for major clients including Federated Co-op and Canadian Tire.

Born in the Philippines and raised in Saskatoon for more than 30 years, Mel is proud to call the city home. A father of four, he brings the same values of reliability, care, and innovation into his work, helping build comfort and trust for every client Zen Mechanical serves.
